DC Studios has released the first official poster for Supergirl, revealing the bold tagline “Truth, Justice, Whatever”—a clear signal that this new big-screen version of Kara Zor-El will bring a sharper, more rebellious tone to the DC Universe.

The tagline suggests a dramatic shift from Superman’s hopeful philosophy, aligning with the character’s grittier portrayal in the DCU. Based on Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s acclaimed comic Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the movie positions Kara as a tougher, more battle-hardened hero shaped by cosmic trauma rather than Earth-raised idealism.

Another major reveal is the involvement of composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones), whose addition has sparked excitement among fans expecting a grand, emotional score.

Starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, the film follows Supergirl as she embarks on a cosmic journey for her 21st birthday with Krypto the Superdog.
