Katy Perry made her relationship with Justin Trudeau Instagram-official by sharing a series of photos and videos from their trip to Tokyo.

The post, shared on Saturday, featured the pair posing closely for a selfie, watching illuminated art and enjoying time together during Perry’s tour stop.

In one image, Perry and Trudeau smiled cheek to cheek outdoors, while another showed them observing an illuminated installation at an art exhibit. Perry also included a video of the two dining, where Trudeau watched as she enjoyed sushi. She captioned the carousel, “tokyo times on tour and more ( ◠‿◠ ) 🎄🍣🐡🥞💐☃️♥️.”

The couple were seen on Monday holding hands in Asakusa before heading to dinner and a show. Later in the week, they joined Japan’s former prime minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko Kishida, for a double date, adding further public confirmation of their relationship.

Perry has been in Japan as part of her ongoing Lifetimes Tour, and sightings with Trudeau have increased in recent months.

The two first prompted dating speculation in July when they were photographed walking together and dining in Montreal. Trudeau later attended Perry’s show at the Bell Centre, and the pair were seen kissing on a yacht off Santa Barbara in October.

Sources previously said Trudeau is “crazy” about Perry and that the pair “are simpatico on everything, including politics, kids and French food.”

Perry’s relationship with Trudeau follows her split from Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares her daughter, Daisy Dove. Trudeau and his estranged wife, Sophie, announced their separation in 2023 and share three children: Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien.
