Vans launches footwear collection inspired by 'Kpop Demon Hunters'
Vans unveils a 'Kpop Demon Hunters' footwear line featuring characters from the hit Netflix movie

Vans has introduced a new footwear capsule inspired by “Kpop Demon Hunters,” the Netflix series that has developed a significant global following. The collection, based on the show’s characters and visual style, arrives in stores on December 5 and will be released online on December 8.
The line incorporates the programme’s neon-focused aesthetic into several of Vans’ most recognisable silhouettes, paired with the brand’s signature checkerboard design.
Characters Rumi, Mira and Zoey from the girl group HUNTR/X are featured on the Classic Slip-On and Sk8-Hi models, while their guardians, Derpy Tiger and Sussie, appear in graphic elements across the designs.
The rival demon boy band, Saja Boys, is the focus of the Old Skool and Old Skool V styles, which include patterns reflecting the group’s demon-themed imagery.
Since the show’s rapid rise in popularity, the franchise has expanded into a wide range of partnerships that have strengthened its position within the competitive K-content licensing market.
Limited-edition figurines sold out within minutes during the summer, and a streetwear collaboration with Korean label A.C.D.C. circulated widely on TikTok. A beauty partnership with Etude House, centred on Mira’s “Moonlit Orchid” eye look, became one of the year’s most notable K-beauty releases.
An official Saja Boys tour hoodie also drew heavy demand, with online drops causing temporary server outages in several regions. Fast-casual food chains have additionally released themed meal kits aligned with major story moments in the series.
Netflix recently confirmed that both Mattel and Hasbro have been appointed global “co-master” toy licensees for “Kpop Demon Hunters.” Products from both companies are scheduled to reach retail in spring 2026.
The dual arrangement, which places two longstanding rivals in shared licensing roles, is considered unusual within the toy industry and reflects Netflix’s expectations for continued demand for merchandise linked to the franchise.
