The 39-year-old singer, known for hits such as You and Girls Around the World, was captured in fan-recorded footage energetically dancing in a bright yellow suit when he suddenly lost his balance. As he spun across the stage, one foot slipped behind the other, sending him forward toward his microphone stand.He tumbled head-first, he managed to avoid injuring his face or head.
Lloyd stayed on the ground for several seconds, appearing to laugh at the mishap, before security rushed in to help him back to his feet so he could continue the performance.
After the show, the New Orleans native addressed the incident with humor on Instagram, writing, “Saw my life flash before my eyes tonight lol”
