Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley attended the 2025 Country Music Association Awards together, marking what Cyrus described online as their first date in the United States.
The pair, who have recently shared updates about their relationship on social media, both took part in the ceremony as presenters.
Hurley, 60, presented the single of the year award, which was awarded to Ella Langley and Riley Green for the song You Look Like You Love Me.
She appeared on the red carpet in a floor-length red gown and platform heels. Cyrus, 64, wore a black outfit that included a silk shirt and a cowboy hat.
Before the ceremony, Cyrus posted a photo of the couple on Instagram on 19 November with the caption: “Our first date in Nashville. Actually, in the US! So grateful for tonight.” The post drew attention from followers who have been following the early stages of the relationship.
Cyrus had also shared an update the previous day, explaining that the two were preparing to present together at the awards. In his November 18 post, he wrote: “Counting down to the CMAs with Elizabeth. We bonded over our love of all things country, especially country music!!! She turned me onto the hit show ‘Nashville’ and we watched it all summer. Heading downtown to the sights and sounds of the heart of Music City feels like our first date.”
He added: “So excited and honoured to be a part of such a special night … and share it with such a special girl.”
The couple’s appearance at the awards continued to draw interest from fans, with many reacting to their public posts and red carpet photographs.
Both have maintained an active presence on social media, where they have shared glimpses of their time together, surrounding the event.
