Stefon Diggs sues influencer over false sexual assault and drugging claims
Stefon Diggs files lawsuit against influencer accusing him of sexual assault, drugging, and a 2023 conspiracy

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs has filed a lawsuit against social media personality Christopher Blake Griffith, who publicly accused Diggs of sexual assault, drugging, and conspiring to have him killed.
The allegations, stemming from an alleged 2023 encounter, were shared on Griffith’s Instagram account in August 2025 and tagged public figures including Sarah Jessica Parker and Ugg.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Diggs claims Griffith fabricated the story. Diggs stated that he and Griffith attended a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C., in May 2023 before going to a club with other influencers. Diggs maintains that once they returned to his home in Rockville, Maryland, his assistant asked Griffith to leave, marking the entirety of their interaction.
Griffith alleged in a police report that Diggs “drugged and sexually assaulted” him on May 22, 2023, and later conspired to have him killed to “suppress his gay/bisexual secrets.” Griffith claimed Diggs offered him “candy” laced with drugs, made unwanted sexual advances, and that he was subsequently robbed, beaten, and forced into a car.
Diggs has denied all allegations and is seeking damages and attorneys’ fees, though the lawsuit does not disclose the amount. Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz, countered, asserting that Griffith is the real victim and disputes Diggs’ claims.
The case also intersects with a prior incident in May 2023, in which Griffith was reportedly attacked by Darez Diggs, Stefon’s brother, in an elevator in Los Angeles. The lawsuit highlights the ongoing legal battle surrounding high-profile accusations against athletes and influencers.
Stefon Diggs’ legal action emphasizes the growing intersection of celebrity, social media, and defamation law, particularly when accusations are made publicly to large online audiences.
