As Cardi B and Offset's divorce drama unravels amid wild rumours, the latter is setting the record straight about speculation surrounding a $10 million divorce settlement and claims about him allegedly saying he “built Cardi’s brand and deserved half".

The rumour started trending after gossip pages alleged that Offset rejected a multimillion-dollar settlement from Cardi B during their divorce negotiations.

The story went viral across social media until the rapper stepped in to clarify the truth. Offset called the claims “false rumors" and slammed the blogs for “running a hate campaign".

Cardi B officially filed for divorce from Offset last year after three kids and seven years of marriage. Since then, the split has faced issues pertaining to legal and financial disputes, with Cardi B revealing in a livestream that “somebody wants me to pay for their taxes” while referring to the former Migos member who has admitted to making “mistakes” in the relationship too.

At the moment, reports about a $10 million settlement or any payout between the exes remain unverified.

Meanwhile, Cardi B is expecting her first  child with NFL star Stefon Diggs’ whom she is currently dating.
