Woman alleges ex-husband of leaking private data
.

The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday ordered the National Counter Cyber Crime Investigation Authority (NCCIA) to provide a copy of its progress report to the counsel of a petitioner in a case pertaining to the alleged leaking of private data by her former husband.
The additional attorney general (AAG) submitted before the bench an investigation report prepared by the NCCIA. According to the report, the petitioner's private data had been uploaded on multiple Indian websites. In response, the NCCIA contacted the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), which has since blocked most of the links.
The report further stated that due to the absence of a mutual legal assistance treaty between Pakistan and India, the NCCIA was unable to access backend records of the websites involved. However, relevant directives issued by the magistrate were emailed to concerned agencies to facilitate the investigation.
A raid was also conducted at the suspect's residence, during which digital devices were seized.
