Bad Bunny is reportedly preparing a major surprise for his upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance, with insiders telling The Sun, that the Puerto Rican artist plans to bring Drake on stage.
The move would mark the pair’s first public collaboration in years and comes amid Drake’s ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar.
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has secured the headline slot for the Super Bowl showpiece in Santa Clara next February. According to sources, the star intends to use the global platform to “showcase his creativity and talent” while paying tribute to “the history of Latin music and Puerto Rico.”
The appearance would also follow a turbulent year in hip hop. Last year’s Super Bowl performance by Kendrick Lamar drew controversy after the rapper included his diss track "Not Like Us", which targeted Drake. The Canadian artist has since filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group, accusing the label of defamation and deliberately amplifying Lamar’s song to harm his reputation.
A source close to Bad Bunny said, “He doesn’t care about the beef or the controversies from last year. He wants to show support to his brother, as Drake helped him a lot early in his career.” The insider added that Bad Bunny is “a loyal person” and hopes to “send a message of peace, love, and respect” through his performance.
Other artists including Jennifer Lopez, J Balvin, and Cardi B are also reportedly being considered for cameo appearances.
The upcoming show, managed by Roc Nation, is expected to deliver a “unique” blend of Latin and global music influences when it takes place on February 8, 2026.
