The final trailer for Wicked: For Good has officially been released, offering fans a deeper look at the anticipated conclusion to the two-part musical adaptation. As reported, the film once again stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, with the story building toward their heartbreaking separation in Oz as conflict escalates. The trailer also introduces a mysterious new visitor who arrives wearing blue gingham, a clear nod to Dorothy Gale from The Wizard of Oz.

Directed by Jon M. Chu, Wicked: For Good is set to premiere in theaters on November 21, 2025. Following the major critical and commercial success of the first installment, the finale is widely expected to be one of the year’s biggest box office draws and a strong contender in the upcoming awards season. The previous film earned Oscar nominations for both Erivo and Grande, and industry watchers anticipate a similar recognition this time around.

The trailer highlights several standout musical numbers from the Broadway classic’s second act. These include “Thank Goodness,” performed by Glinda as she reassures the people of Oz despite Elphaba’s looming presence; “No Good Deed,” showcasing Elphaba’s moment of despair as she believes her efforts to do good are futile; and “For Good,” the bittersweet farewell between the two witches that has long been a fan favorite.

In addition to its emotional pull, the preview teases the much-discussed rivalry scene between Elphaba and Glinda, giving audiences a glimpse of the tension and humor that define their complex relationship.

According to Empire Magazine, which is set to release an in-depth feature tomorrow, this trailer may represent the final major push in the film’s marketing campaign before its debut. Fans are now counting down the weeks until Oz’s biggest story reaches its conclusion.
