FaZe Clan co-founders Thomas “Temperrr” Oliveira and Nordan “Rain” Shat are at the center of a public controversy that has led to Temperrr’s removal from the organization. The fallout began after Rain accused Temperrr of engaging in inappropriate conduct with minors during a September 14 livestream, allegations Temperrr has strongly denied.
During the broadcast, Rain claimed that Temperrr once admitted to having a sexual encounter with two 16-year-olds, later revising the story to say one of the individuals was 17 while another was present but did not participate. Rain alleged he informed other FaZe members, including Ricky “Banks” Bengston and FaZe Apex, before speaking publicly. Banks later confirmed Rain’s allegations were directed at Temperrr but noted Temperrr denied wrongdoing during private discussions.
Temperrr responded by acknowledging an encounter years earlier in New York, explaining he met girls at a 21+ nightclub and later discovered one was 17. He said he believed all parties were of legal age due to the club’s restrictions, calling Rain’s accusations of pedophilia “insane.” He further alleged Rain had previously attempted to use the information for financial leverage, describing it as blackmail.
On September 15, FaZe Clan posted an updated roster on social media that excluded Temperrr, effectively confirming his removal from the group. Temperrr expressed disappointment over the decision, stating he was cut without any direct conversation from the organization he helped build over 15 years. He described the accusations as damaging to both his reputation and family, particularly his young son.
Reflecting on his personal growth, Temperrr admitted to past mistakes but emphasized that fatherhood had motivated him to change. He vowed to protect his family’s integrity and continue challenging the allegations moving forward.
