AccuWeather expects temperatures near 40°C with a ‘RealFeel’ of 44°C because of strong sunshine and humidity. Air quality is rated “very unhealthy.” Night-time temperatures are set to stay around 30°C with sticky humidity.
Northeasterly winds gusting up to 33 km/h might give seam bowlers some help, but will offer little relief from the heat. No rain is predicted, ensuring a full contest.
The Dubai pitch usually offers an even contest. Fast bowlers may find early movement, while spinners come into play as the surface slows. Batting tends to improve during the middle overs, giving teams chasing a slight edge.
