Brooke Hogan visited a Florida funeral home on Tuesday to personally view the body of her father, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, amid lingering concerns over the circumstances of his death.
Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that Brooke was unsure if her father's remains had been cremated, as previously stated by his widow, Sky Hogan. Her visit was to confirm the body’s condition and determine whether an autopsy had been or would be conducted.
Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died at his Clearwater, Florida home on July 24. According to TMZ, an occupational therapist present at the time informed authorities that Hogan’s phrenic nerve — which controls the diaphragm and breathing — had been severed during a recent surgical procedure. His death remains under investigation by the Clearwater Police Department.
Brooke, concerned about possible contributing factors such as opioid use or potential foul play, has been actively communicating with the police. After viewing her father’s body, she met with Clearwater officers and was shown body cam footage from the initial emergency response to the 911 call placed on the day of his death.
Although police have stated they are conducting a death investigation, they have not requested a formal autopsy from the Medical Examiner. Sky Hogan previously told TMZ that a private autopsy had already been performed, though she declined to disclose the results.
Brooke’s involvement signals her ongoing efforts to seek clarity surrounding her father’s passing. While the official cause of death has not been confirmed publicly, questions continue to surround the circumstances, particularly related to medical oversight and procedural decisions following Hogan’s surgery.
As of now, Hulk Hogan’s body remains uncremated, and the investigation into his death is ongoing.
