Brooke Oleksy has spoken out following criticism for her absence at WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” tribute to her late father, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, who passed away on July 24 at age 71 after going into cardiac arrest.
Addressing backlash from fans via her Instagram Stories, Brooke claimed she was never invited to the event, which included a 10-bell salute and a video tribute. “@wwe did not extend an invite,” the former reality star wrote on Wednesday. WWE has not commented on the claim, according to Page Six.

In contrast, Brooke’s younger brother, Nick Hogan, and his wife, Tana Lea, attended the emotional memorial. Both were seen wearing black and visibly mourning during the televised tribute. Nick also shared a heartfelt Instagram post, calling their late father his “mentor” and “best friend.”
Brooke and Hulk Hogan—born Terry Gene Bollea—had reportedly been estranged in recent years. However, in a social media post shared Tuesday, Brooke insisted their connection remained strong despite personal distance. “Our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments,” she wrote. “When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him.”
Brooke’s absence from the tribute comes amid ongoing family complexities. According to TMZ, she had requested to be removed from her father’s will in 2023 due to trust issues with those in his inner circle. She reportedly wished to avoid financial entanglements following his death. Despite that, she is still expected to receive funds from a life insurance trust, which she plans to use for her children’s education.
Brooke, a former star of Hogan Knows Best, is now a mother to six-month-old twins, Oliver and Molly, with her husband Steven Olesky.
