Meghan Trainor has left fans doing a double take after appearing almost unrecognisable in a new social media video. The Grammy-winning singer recently joined in on the viral Nicki Minaj stiletto challenge on TikTok, showing off a sleek, long blonde ponytail with centre-parted bangs. Almost immediately, comments poured in from fans claiming they did not realise it was her at first glance.
One fan wrote, “I did not recognise her at first. What happened?” Others echoed the sentiment, sparking a wave of speculation online. Rather than shy away from the attention, the 31-year-old embraced it. Just hours later, Meghan posted a follow-up video of herself lip-synching to Megan Thee Stallion’s hit Her, mouthing the lines: “I don’t care if these bitches don’t like me, ’cause like, I’m pretty as f**. Just the other day, I heard a hoe say. Matter of fact, what could hoe say with a face like this and a bitch bad? Shit.”* She captioned the clip, “Glam team really did that,” making it clear she is enjoying the glow-up and directly addressing the comments.
The transformation, however, goes beyond just a hairstyle. Earlier this year, Meghan revealed she had been working on her health and fitness following the birth of her second child. She shared that she had adopted a new lifestyle with the help of a dietician and trainer, and credited her progress in part to Mounjaro, a medication that aided her weight loss journey. “I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,” she told fans in March.
Meghan has also spoken openly about cosmetic procedures, including breast augmentation and Botox. She candidly admitted that while she loves her new figure, she may have gone too far with injectables, confessing last year that her Botox made it difficult to smile naturally.
Despite the chatter, Meghan appears unfazed by critics. With her bold new image and renewed confidence, she is showing fans that transformation is not just about appearances but about feeling good from the inside out.
