Noah Centineo is undergoing a major transformation for his latest role in the live-action Street Fighter movie.
The 29-year-old actor recently shared a shirtless selfie on Instagram, revealing his muscular build and blonde hair as he prepares to play martial artist Ken Masters, one of the franchise’s most iconic characters.
Centineo captioned the photo “Road brawler,” referencing the film’s project title, while flexing his biceps and showing off his six-pack abs. The selfie, reportedly taken on set in Sydney, Australia, quickly drew reactions online, with actress Rachel Zegler commenting, “NOW HANG ON—.” Fans praised Centineo’s dedication to embodying the video game character, who is traditionally depicted as a blonde, athletic fighter trained in Ansatsuken.
The upcoming film, directed by Kitao Sakurai, features a star-studded cast. Andrew Koji will play Ryu, Jason Momoa takes on Blanka, WWE superstar Roman Reigns portrays Akuma, and Callina Liang appears as Chun-Li. Other cast members include Orville Peck as Vega, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, and Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim.
This will be the second live-action adaptation of Street Fighter following the 1994 film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Raúl Juliá, Kylie Minogue, and Ming-Na Wen. Centineo takes over the role of Ken from Damian Chapa, who played him in the original.
Filming began in August, with the release originally set for March 20, 2026, though a new premiere date is expected. Alongside Street Fighter, Centineo is also reportedly set to star in a Rambo prequel, portraying a younger version of Sylvester Stallone’s legendary character.
