Tom Holland may be best known for playing Spider-Man, but at home he’s also learning to take on dinner duty—thanks to help from his brother, chef Sam Holland.
In a recent interview with The Times, Sam revealed that he often sends his cookbook recipes to Tom, particularly vegetarian ones, since Zendaya follows a plant-based diet. Sam explained that while Zendaya was busy filming in Boston, Tom relied on his guidance to prepare meals for the couple at home.
“I’m especially proud of the veggie section,” Sam said, noting that Tom went through the recipes “one by one and really enjoyed them.” He added that the dishes are simple enough for anyone to recreate, even his brothers Harry and Paddy Holland, despite joking that all of them are “probably worse than beginner cooks.”
Tom, however, has a more confident view of his skills. Speaking on the Dish podcast, he described himself as “a fine cook” who enjoys experimenting with vegetarian meals. Still, he admitted that not every attempt has been a success, confessing that a few nights ended with takeout orders.
The actor also praised Zendaya’s own cooking abilities, singling out her spicy vodka fusilli as a favorite dish. The couple, who have been engaged since late 2024, seem to share a passion for food alongside their busy Hollywood careers.
With Sam continuing to publish cookbooks and Tom balancing acting with cooking at home, it seems the Holland family is finding creative ways to mix culinary skills with star power.
