Rapper Blueface has updated his fans from behind bars, sharing a new photo taken in the yard of Los Angeles County Jail where he is currently serving a four-year sentence.

The 27-year-old, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, entered custody in January after a judge revoked his probation relating to a 2021 assault case.

In the latest post, Blueface appeared in casual prison attire with visible tattoos and a noticeably stronger physique. The caption read: "This is not a 50/50 yard."

Supporters quickly flooded the comments section with messages of encouragement. Among them was his mother, Karlissa Saffold, who wrote, "It’s count down for the celebration of my babies return. Come get these tickets Blueface Home Coming Celebrity Bash."

His manager Wack 100 has confirmed that the rapper has already served around 440 days in custody, meaning his time could be reduced to roughly three years.

The artist’s legal history has been turbulent. In 2022, he accepted a plea deal in Nevada following a nightclub shooting, pleading guilty to firearm and battery charges, and was given three years’ probation. More serious allegations were dismissed.

Despite his imprisonment, Blueface continues to release new music through his team.
