Camp Rock 3 is officially set to make its long-awaited return, bringing the Disney Channel musical franchise back to screens more than 15 years after its last installment.

The upcoming sequel reunites the Jonas Brothers as Connect 3, as the band returns to Camp Rock in search of a new opening act for their reunion tour. The film continues the legacy of the original Disney Channel movies that helped launch a generation of musical talent, including Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres.

This time, Camp Rock introduces a fresh group of young performers hoping to make their mark at the iconic summer camp. Leading the new cast are Sage and Desi, played by Liamani Segura and Hudson Stone, alongside fellow campers including Fletch (Malachi Barton), Rosie (Lumi Pollack), and Cliff (Casey Trotter). Their journeys mirror the original camp experience, blending friendship, rivalry, romance, and performance-driven ambition.

According to a report by Collider, the story also sees tensions rise when Connect 3 returns to Camp Rock after losing their opening act, pushing the campers into a high-stakes competition for a breakthrough in the music industry.

As relationships form and rivalries escalate, the camp becomes a stage for emotional growth, unexpected alliances, and personal breakthroughs. The sequel aims to balance nostalgia for longtime fans with a new generation of musical storytelling.

While Demi Lovato is not returning on screen, she remains involved as an executive producer alongside the Jonas Brothers. The film is directed and written by Veronica Rodriguez and Eydie Faye.

Camp Rock 3 will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ later this summer, marking a major revival of one of Disney’s most beloved musical franchises.
