Liam Neeson made headlines in 2024 when he told PEOPLE, “I’m past all that,” in response to questions about dating. At the time, the actor appeared to have closed the door on new romantic relationships. Now, Neeson, aged 73, and Pamela Anderson, 58, co-stars on The Naked Gun, have reportedly entered “the early stages” of a romantic relationship.
A source close to the production has described their connection as “sincere” and noted that they are clearly smitten with each other.
Their chemistry has been evident during the global press tour. At the New York premiere on July 28, the pair posed together alongside their children—displaying ease and warmth.
During an appearance on Today on July 29, Neeson and Anderson playfully pretended to be caught making out when the camera turned to them. At the London premiere a week earlier, Anderson planted a kiss on Neeson’s cheek in full view of attendees.
Neeson, previously married to Natasha Richardson until her death in 2009, had described Anderson in his PEOPLE cover story as “madly in love” with her, praising her professionalism and character. Anderson reciprocated the sentiment, calling Neeson “the perfect gentleman” and praising his respect and kindness.
Although Anderson later clarified in Entertainment Weekly that their relationship remained platonic during filming, citing professional dinner events shared with cast members, the current reports suggest that their connection has since deepened into something more affectionate.
