VTuber Ironmouse has said she was unsure about returning to Twitch following her departure from VShojo and a dispute over charity payments.
On July 21, Ironmouse announced she was ending her association with VShojo, claiming the agency had not paid around $500,000 from her charity subathon to The Immune Deficiency Foundation.
Following her departure, Ironmouse’s charity campaign raised $1 million, and other VTubers, including Kson, also left VShojo. Ironmouse returned to Twitch on July 23 to address the situation, having been away from streaming for over a week.
During her return, she told viewers, “I was not sure when I was going to stream again because I’ve been an emotional mess. It’s been a very difficult time for me. This is the longest break that I’ve ever taken from streaming since I started streaming a long time ago.”
She added, “You missed me? I missed you guys, too! I missed you guys so much! I was just, like, I think for a few days, I didn’t even talk. I didn’t even say a word. I was like, you know, bed-rotten.”
Ironmouse stated she “cannot say anything more” beyond what she has already shared in her video on the situation. She added, “The second I am able to speak and say what I want to say, I will say whatever I have to say.”
