Jynxzi’s Twitch account hacked and briefly banned before quick recovery

Jynxzi was briefly banned after hackers took over his Twitch account, raising security concerns among gamers.

Popular Twitch streamer Jynxzi, known for his Rainbow Six Siege gameplay and massive online following, was briefly banned from Twitch on July 17, 2025, after his account was hacked. The incident sent shockwaves through the gaming community as fans tried to understand what went wrong.

With over 7.5 million Twitch followers and nearly 5 million YouTube subscribers, Jynxzi is one of the most recognizable names in streaming. His recent collaboration with fellow creator IShowSpeed on an upcoming Fortnite tournament with a $100,000 prize pool had further solidified his standing in esports entertainment.

The chaos began around 3:39 PM  when Jynxzi's Twitch account was suddenly banned. Twitch cited “hacking and platform manipulation” as the reason for the action, listing offenses such as DDoS, phishing, and exploits in its policy. A message from Twitch mentioned: “Due to the severe nature of this violation... your access to Twitch services is indefinitely restricted.”

Jynxzi quickly responded via X.com (formerly Twitter):

Roughly 30 minutes later, Twitch reversed the ban, allowing Jynxzi to resume streaming. The identity of the hacker remains unknown, and it’s unclear how the breach occurred.
