Nicki Minaj’s latest online posts have reignited feud speculation in hip-hop, with fans believing her jabs at Megan Thee Stallion sparked a viral response from Cardi B.
On Tuesday, Minaj reacted to a federal judge’s denial of Megan and Roc Nation’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit by cameraman Emilio Garcia, referencing the situation with: “What was the name of that law again???????? Karma’s Law?... We give God the glory & he’s only just begun.”
She followed up with digs at Jay-Z, alleging he owes her between $100–200 million and promising to use it to help her Barbz pay for college.
Just an hour after Minaj’s posts began trending, Cardi B tweeted: “Shut the f*ck up… Go to dinner, go shopping, go to the park… Get off the internet… ENOUGH!!” and “Enjoy these looks and day… and ignore the bored… Love yall.”
Though she didn’t name names, fans quickly interpreted her posts as a response to Minaj’s indirect shade towards Megan, with whom Cardi has maintained a friendly relationship.
The online back-and-forth came as Cardi promotes her upcoming album Am I the Drama?, with the single “Outside” recently debuting at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Fans continue to debate whether the posts signal a renewed clash or clever marketing.
Meanwhile, Minaj’s criticisms of Roc Nation and Jay-Z show no signs of slowing down, as she remains vocal about her belief in industry bias and unpaid royalties.
