Hunter Doohan is stepping back into the spotlight with the return of Netflix’s hit series Wednesday, which premieres its highly anticipated second season this August. Known for his role as Tyler Galpin, Doohan has kept quiet about the plot but promises the new episodes are ‘bigger and better.’

“I’m sorry it took three years,” he told WWD, acknowledging fans' long wait. Season one left Tyler revealed as a murderous hyde; in season two, he dives deeper into the show’s gothic fantasy. “This time I really felt like from the start I was living in the heightened genre of the world,” he said.

Fresh off the runway circuit, Doohan recently attended Saint Laurent’s Spring 2026 men’s show in Paris. Though new to the fashion scene, the Arkansas native, who grew up wearing Buckle jeans, now embraces designer looks. He chose a sleek suiting separates outfit for the show, skipping leather pants after a humorous back-and-forth with his team. “Someone said, ‘I don’t know if you’re a leather guy,’” he joked.

The event also brought unexpected highlights, including meeting actress Cristin Milioti. “I was obsessed,” he said.

Doohan’s schedule remains packed. He’ll soon fly to New Zealand to shoot the upcoming Evil Dead Burn film. Later this year, he’s set to appear in The Wilderness, an indie project. Despite his growing list of roles, many dark and twisted, Doohan is eyeing lighter terrain. “I think I need to maybe play a few less murderers,” he quipped. “Maybe do a comedy.”

From Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Netflix stardom and Paris Fashion Week, Doohan’s rise is equal parts grit, charm, and unexpected style. And with season two of Wednesday around the corner, he’s ready to thrill audiences again, spoiler-free.
