Girl's fiancé killed by suitor brother-in-law

The police arrested Azhar and Sajid in connection with the case.

A man who had killed the fiancé of her sister-in-law was arrested along with another suspect after 15 days following the incident.

The Saddar police solved murder case of 25-year-old Umar Parvez, who was sleeping on the rooftop of his home on June 13 in Jamshir when he was gunned down.

The police arrested Azhar and Sajid in connection with the case.

According to the heirs, the deceased Umar Parvez was supposed to get married in a week.

According to the police, the suspect Azhar wanted to marry his sister-in-law, while the deceased Umar had wedding scheduled with her a week later.

The suspect killed the girl to remove the obstacle to his new marriage. The Pattoki police took both suspects into custody and are continuing investigations into the case.
