'Indian terror proxies' attack school bus in Khuzdar; three children among 6 martyred: ISPR
At least six people, including three children, were martyred and several others injured on Wednesday morning when terrorists targeted a school bus with a bomb in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
“As per initial reports, three innocent children have embraced martyrdom and multiple children have sustained injuries,” the press release by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.
“After having miserably failed in the battlefield, through these most heinous and cowardly such like acts, Indian proxies have been unleashed to spread terror and unrest in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa,” the ISPR said.
"Having failed in the Operation Bunnianum Masroor and being hunted by military and law enforcement agencies, these Indian terror proxies are being employed as a state tool by India to foment terrorism in Pakistan against soft targets such as innocent children and civilians," the military's media wing said.

Use of terrorism as a state policy by Indian political government is a horent and reflective of their low morality and disregard of basic human norms, it added.
The ISPR said that planners, abettors and executors of this cowardly Indian sponsored attack will be hunted down and brought to justice and heinous face of India will be exposed infront of the entire world.
"Pakistan Armed Forces with support of brave Pakistani nation, stand united to uproot Indian sponsored terrorism from Pakistan in its all manifestations," the statement added.

PM, Field Marshal in Quetta
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have arrived in Quetta on an emergency visit.
They will be briefed on the recent attack on schoolgirls and teachers in Khuzdar, carried out by terrorists allegedly supported by India, the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.
The Prime Minister and Field Marshal will also visit the injured victims of the attack to offer their condolences.
Earlier, In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a school bus, which he said was sponsored by India. In a statement, he expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of innocent children and their teachers in the incident.
The prime minister extended his condolences to the families of the victims and directed authorities to promptly identify and hold those responsible accountable.
He also instructed that the injured receive immediate and priority medical treatment.
Similarly, President Asif Zardari strongly condemned the attack as a human rights violation and extended condolences to the aggreived families.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also condemned the Khuzdar school bus blast and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic death of children in the bus explosion near Zero Point in Khuzdar.
He extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families of the children who lost their lives.

Murder of innocent children 'beyond comprehension'
The United States also mourned the losses and strongly condemned attack on a school bus, calling the murder of innocent children “beyond comprehension,”
In an official statement issued by the US Embassy in Islamabad, US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker expressed deep sorrow over the attack and extended solidarity with the victims and their families.
“No child should ever fear going to school,” Baker emphasized in her statement. “We stand with those in Pakistan working to end this violence.”
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) strongly condemns the heinous attack on a school bus in Khuzdar.
“The deliberate targeting of schoolchildren—innocent noncombatants in every sense—is a red line that must never be crossed. This act violates the most basic tenets of humanity and international humanitarian law,” the commission said in a statement.
It said “the continued failure of the federal and provincial governments to prevent such attacks highlights serious and persistent lapses in providing security to common citizens”.

The statement further added that the state has an obligation to uphold law and order by strengthening civilian institutions and the rule of law—not through indiscriminate kinetic responses”.
While calling for the immediate identification and prosecution of the perpetrators and their enablers through lawful means, HRCP also stressed the urgent need for a meaningful political dialogue to address the deep-rooted problems of representation, governance, and resource distribution in Balochistan.
