Hulu has officially dropped the first look at the highly anticipated King of the Hill reboot, teasing the return of Hank Hill and his Arlen, Texas crew with a modern twist.

The revival poster features Hank, Bill, Dale, and Boomhauer back in their familiar alleyway—only this time, they’re surrounded by new tech. From food delivery apps to VR headsets, it’s clear the world around them has changed, even if Hank is still holding tight to his propane-selling roots.

Created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, the reboot reintroduces fans to the familiar charm of the long-running animated series, with a few modern updates. While the gang appears a little older and grayer, they’re still very much themselves. This time around, Bobby Hill, voiced by Pamela Adlon, is now a grown-up with a successful culinary career—still following his passions, just in a more mature way.

Most of the original voice cast returns, including Judge as Hank, Kathy Najimy as Peggy, Stephen Root as Bill, and the late Johnny Hardwicke as Dale. According to reports, Hardwicke recorded a few episodes before his passing in 2023, making his return especially meaningful.

Fans can expect more information soon, as the cast and creators are set to appear at the ATX TV Festival on May 29. With its blend of nostalgia and present-day relevance, Hulu's King of the Hill reboot is shaping up to be a major summer highlight when it premieres later this year.
