Amber Heard has announced the birth of her twins in a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Mother’s Day in the United States.
The 39-year-old actress revealed she has welcomed a daughter, Agnes, and a son, Ocean, expressing that she was "elated beyond words" to celebrate what she called the "completion" of her family.
Sharing a photo of three pairs of feet—belonging to her and her children—Heard reflected on her motherhood journey, writing: "Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life."
The Aquaman star already shares a daughter, Oonagh, born in 2021. At the time, she made headlines for her decision to become a mother outside of traditional marriage, encouraging normalization of single parenthood by choice. In her latest post, she emphasized that motherhood was a decision she approached “responsibly and thoughtfully.”
Heard described her children as the realization of a family she had "strived to build for years." She also extended support to mothers worldwide, writing, “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you.”
Amber Heard is known for her roles in The Rum Diary, Drive Angry, Zombieland, and Aquaman. She was previously married to actor Johnny Depp, with whom she was involved in two high-profile defamation lawsuits that drew global media attention.
