
A total of 67,462 labours working in different industries of the province were examined by medical specialists at outpatient department (OPD), while 13,807 patients received services from the cardiology department during the first 10 months of the current fiscal.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Employees' Social Security Institution (ESSI) published its 10-month performance report for the fiscal year 2024-2025, highlighting significant achievements across various domains.
According to the ESSI, 11,940 patients were treated in the gynecology department and 4,029 patients underwent ECG tests. However, 2,580 patients benefited from echocardiography (ECO) services and1,500 patients received ultrasound facilities.
Other medical operations including 30 minor surgeries were conducted. Some 42 successful deliveries (childbirths) were performed and 349 gynecology admissions were recorded.
Additionally, a total of 83,720 medical investigations were carried out, reflecting the Institution's commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.
ESSI continues to undertake further improvements and development plans to ensure the timely provision of the best healthcare and financial benefits to employees.
