Stevie Nicks, the iconic voice behind Fleetwood Mac and unforgettable hits like "Edge of Seventeen," has confirmed that a new album is on the way.

After a decade-long hiatus, the 76-year-old singer has revealed her upcoming work will reflect her personal experiences, particularly her love life, with lyrics already written.

Speaking during her induction into the Pollstar Live Hall of Fame on Wednesday night, Nicks shared that the album, currently titled Ghost, had come together unexpectedly in the past few weeks.

“I’m actually making a record right now,” she said, adding, “I call it the Ghost record because it just kind of happened in the last couple of weeks. I have seven songs and they are autobiographical, real stories where I’m not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life.”

She went on to explain that these songs would offer an intimate look into her past, saying, “They’re not airy-fairy songs that you’re wondering who they’re about, but you really don’t get it. They are real stories, memories of mine, of fantastic men.”

The album’s creation was sparked by the turmoil Nicks faced when forced to leave her Los Angeles home due to the devastating wildfires.

Ghost will mark Nicks’ first album release in 14 years, following 2011’s In Your Dreams.

The project is set to feature collaborations with renowned artists such as Tom Petty, Joe Walsh, Don Henley, and Jimmy Iovine, making it an eagerly awaited return for the legendary artist.
