Sami Sheen has opened up about why she decided to cut all contact with her father, actor Charlie Sheen, revealing that it stemmed from a series of frustrations.

Speaking on the Casual Chaos podcast with Gia Giudice, the 21-year-old shared that it had been almost a year since their last phone conversation, and over six months since they last texted. While Sami downplayed the significance, she noted that their relationship had already been strained due to Charlie's busy schedule, and she wasn't particularly close with him anymore.

The turning point came after Sami underwent rhinoplasty. She was upset that Charlie didn’t reach out to check on her after the surgery, even though she had hoped for his support. "When I got my nose surgery, I was really mad that he couldn't even like call me or anything to see if I made it out of surgery," Sami explained. When Charlie eventually texted her a day later, asking if she was okay, she responded sharply, saying, "I could have been dead by now, but yeah, I'm fine." Their subsequent argument escalated, and Sami felt it was time to distance herself.

Things took a further turn when Charlie sent Sami what she described as "some crazy stuff." To prevent further contact, Sami blocked his phone number and email, even going so far as to block a new number he used to reach her on Christmas. She told him, “Do not contact me ever again because this is crazy.”

Growing up, Sami revealed that her memories of Charlie often involved him being under the influence, and she admitted that she never saw him sober during her childhood. Although she doesn't blame her sister, Lola, for their different relationships with their father, she expressed frustration with his differing treatment of the two.
