The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced that several significant measures have been implemented to ensure the transparency, impartiality, and quality of the paper marking process.
In a joint statement, the BISE Chairman, Muhammad Adnan Khan, and the Controller of Examinations, Tanveer Asghar Awan, stated that biometric attendance systems and CCTV cameras have been installed at all established marking centres of the Board. "These measures aim to effectively monitor the attendance, discipline, and performance of the marking staff and other related personnel."
To further enhance the monitoring and transparency of the marking process, the Board has introduced an advanced Monitoring and Evaluation System, which was successfully implemented during the Inter Second Annual Examinations of 2024.
This system has now been further improved and is also being applied for the Matric Annual Examinations of 2025. The system will not only monitor Head Examiners, Sub-Examiners, Supervisors, and Assistant Head Examiners, but also other relevant officers, ensuring accountability and transparency at every level.
Maintaining impartiality, transparency, and merit in the marking process is the top priority, ensuring that no student faces any injustice. This system is expected to improve staff performance and further strengthen public trust in the examination system.
Recently, Controller of Examinations visited the marking centres established at Government Boys Qadria Secondary School Gujar Khan and Government Girls High School Kallar Syedan and instructed the marking staff to ensure complete transparency and merit in the marking process.
