Man held with 1,200kg fake bonds packets

FIA spokesperson says suspect was engaged in deceiving the public by manufacturing, selling fake products

SARGODHA:

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle Sargodha on Friday arrested a suspect identified as Faisal Hayat for his alleged involvement in the sale of fake bonds.

According to the FIA spokesperson Abdul Ghafoor here, the accused was apprehended from a shop located on Lorry Adda Road in Sargodha.

During the operation, the FIA recovered approximately 1,200 kilograms of counterfeit bond packets from the premises.

The spokesperson said that the suspect was engaged in deceiving the public by manufacturing and selling fake products.

The arrested individual has been taken into custody and a formal investigation has been initiated. The FIA officials confirmed that raids were underway to arrest other accomplices involved in the illegal activity.
