
Unidentified motorcyclists shot and killed a milk vendor in the Thikriwala area.
Police have taken possession of the body and transported it to the hospital while launching a search operation to apprehend the attackers. Sarwar, a resident of Chak 219 RB Sahianwala, was on his way in his milk wagon carrying empty milk cans from Chak 77 JB Mullanpur towards 79 Phatak, when two unidentified persons on a motorcycle who were following him opened fire on the milk vehicle, seriously injuring him.
He was shifted to the hospital in critical condition, where he died after struggling for his life.
The heirs of the deceased and the police reached the spot after informing. The police took the body into custody and shifted it to the hospital and initiated the legal proceedings.
The heirs of the deceased have alleged that he also had Rs125,000 with him, which is no longer there, while according to the police, the deceased's mobile phone and wallet were in the pickup wagon.
Meanwhile, in the Chak 227 RB Izafi Abadi Panjtan Road, Bismillah Town, area of Saddar Police Station, accused Babar Pathan Anwar, Shakeel Saleem alias Jashi, Yasir Javed and other accomplices came on motorcycles and entered Khalida Bibi's house and opened fire. As a result Khalida Bibi wife of Afzal Ahmad, who was sitting in Itikaf, and 32-year-old Bilal Akram were seriously injured in the firing. After medical assistance, they were shifted to the Civil Hospital, where Bilal succumbed to his injuries.
On receiving information, police officers reached the spot, took possession of the body of the deceased, shifted it to the hospital and registered a case against the named accused under the sections of murder and attempt to murder on the statement of Muhammad Mohsin and started searching for them.
In another incident, near Jaranwala Road 209 RB area of Saddar Police Station, Faisalabad, 19-year-old Faizan Abdul Majeed, was seriously injured by his opponents Rafiq alias Faiqa, Sibtain alias Saqlain, and Naeem Haider who shot him in the stomach and right arm due to an old grudge.
