President grants military awards
President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday granted military awards to more than 750 officers and soldiers of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
According to a news release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the president granted two Sitara-i-Basalat, 227 Tamgha-i-Basalat, 82 Imtiazi Asnad; 185 COAS Commendation Cards, 23 Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), 112 Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and 133 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
The press release stated that Sitara-i-Basalat was awarded to Lt Col Muhammad Ali Shaukat (Shaheed), FF; Sep Soban Majeed Baloch (Shaheed).
