Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that her growing pet collection now includes an astonishing 62 animals, consisting of 25 farm animals, 23 foster dogs, 10 personal dogs, and 4 cats.
On BBC Radio 1, the actress spoke with hosts Jamie Laing and Vick Hope about her deep love for animals and shared the heartwarming story of her blind dachshund, Rigby.
Millie explained that she found Rigby on the side of the road, fearing that he didn’t have much time left. She adopted him, as he was blind and struggling to navigate her home. "Well, this dog is jumping on my couch now," she humorously remarked, revealing that despite his condition, Rigby has thrived in her care. It has now been a year since her rescue, and Rigby has adapted well, becoming a happy and active part of her family.
Millie also shared that she named him "Rigor Mortis" as she initially thought he would not survive, referencing the postmortem rigidity of muscles. "He is nowhere close to death," she joked, delighting fans with her sense of humour. Many compared her to Lisa Vanderpump, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum known for her love for dogs, while others praised Millie for dedicating her resources to such a noble cause.
Currently, Millie is on a promotional tour for her new movie The Electric State, streaming on Netflix. The film follows an orphaned teenager and her robot companion as they traverse the American West in search of her brother.
