Alix Earle’s ‘Hot Mess’ podcast dropped by Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network amid feud rumors

Alix Earle’s Hot Mess podcast has been dropped by Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network as feud speculation gains traction.

Alix Earle’s Hot Mess podcast has been dropped by Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network, fueling speculation of a rift between the two influencers.

Sources confirm that SiriusXM will also no longer sell ads for the show, and Unwell has relinquished all rights to Hot Mess, allowing Earle to pursue other opportunities.

The split comes amid growing social media chatter about tension between Earle, a popular TikTok influencer, and Cooper, the Call Her Daddy podcast host. The rumors intensified after Earle skipped Unwell’s Super Bowl party in New Orleans despite being in town.

Cooper launched the Unwell Network in August 2023, positioning it as a platform for Gen Z voices tackling social challenges and personal insecurities. Earle was one of its first major signings, alongside Pretty Lonesome host Madeline Argy. Unwell operates under Tending, a media company founded by Cooper and her fiancé, Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.

Despite Earle’s departure, Unwell continues to expand. In February, the network signed Grace O’Malley for her DisGRACEful podcast and also produces Boyfriend Material by Harry Jowsey and In Your Dreams by Owen Thiele. Meanwhile, Cooper’s Call Her Daddy remains a powerhouse, recently featuring Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election season.

With Hot Mess now independent, Earle’s next move in the podcasting world remains uncertain.
