The legal drama between Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds has intensified, with shocking allegations surfacing in Lively’s amended lawsuit. According to the filing, Baldoni’s business partner, Steve Sarowitz, who is the co-founder of Wayfarer Studios which produced It Ends With Us, made a highly controversial remark, comparing their impending legal battle to Israel’s war against Hamas.
The lawsuit claims that in August 2024, Sarowitz told a third party:
“I will protect the studio like Israel protected itself from Hamas. There were 39,000 dead bodies. There will be two dead bodies when I’m done.”

Although Sarowitz later walked back the comment, allegedly stating he did not mean literal harm, he reportedly vowed to destroy Lively and Reynolds’ standing in Hollywood.
In another explosive claim, Sarowitz is accused of saying he was willing to spend nine figures to tarnish Lively and Reynolds’ reputations. The Hollywood A-listers are at the center of a legal battle after Lively accused Baldoni of harassment, while Baldoni has counter-sued Lively for $400 million, claiming she is attempting to destroy his career.
Beyond Sarowitz’s remarks, the amended complaint alleges that Lively was not the only woman on set who felt uncomfortable around Baldoni, with other workplace complaints surfacing.
Neither Sarowitz nor Baldoni have responded to the allegations.
