Govt responsible for talented students' fees: CM

A help desk has been established for guiding students and addressing their complaints related to the Honhaar Scholarship scheme.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said regarding the facility launched on her instruction, "Talented students should only focus on studying, paying their fees is the responsibility of the government. I want to put all the resources at the disposal of students."

According to an announcement, students may contact the helpline on WhatsApp, landline and social media. The Honhaar Scholarship Desk will guide the students from 9am to 5pm daily for information and resolution of complaints.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mariam Nawaz expressed deep grief over the death of nine labourers due to an explosion near a coal mine in Quetta. She expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
