Sheryl Crow has parted ways with her Tesla, taking to Instagram to announce her decision.
In the video, she waves goodbye to the car while reflecting, “My parents always said… you are who you hang with.” She added, “There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla.”
This marks a sharp contrast to five years ago, when Crow had retweeted Elon Musk after he offered a solution to her Tesla’s black screen issue.
Crow's departure from Tesla comes amid a growing public disapproval of Musk, with fellow musicians Kacey Musgraves and Margo Price showing support for her decision. Crow also highlighted her donation to NPR, which she claims is under threat from Musk, stating, “In hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth.”
It seems Crow’s once-favorable view of Tesla has turned into a public farewell.
