The Sindh Cabinet has approved a five-year increase in the age limit for government job applicants, raising the maximum age from 28 to 33 years.
The decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sindh, where several agenda items were discussed, including the age relaxation policy.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, while briefing the media after the meeting, confirmed the approval and stated that the decision was taken in light of ongoing restrictions on government hiring.
However, he clarified that the Sindh Police and Public Service Commission recruitments would not be included in this policy.
The move aims to expand job opportunities for candidates who have been affected by hiring delays and age restrictions in the province.
