RAWALPINDI:

The annual elections for the Lahore High Court Bar Association will take place on February 22, with three executive body members, including the joint secretary, elected unopposed.

A unique development this year is the participation of three lawyer siblings — two sisters and a brother — who have launched a joint election campaign.

The election board has approved the nomination papers of Tahira Bano Mubarak, Uzma Mubarak, and Azmat Ali Mubarak, making them the first trio of lawyer siblings in Lahore High Court's Pindi bench's history to contest together.

According to Election Board Chairman Tanveer Iqbal Khan and Senior Member Sibtain Bukhari, polling will be held on Saturday, February 22, from 8am to 4pm without any break, followed immediately by vote counting.
