Rihanna shared a heartfelt message with her two children, RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, during the closing arguments at partner A$AP Rocky’s weapons assault trial in Los Angeles on Thursday. The singer and entrepreneur has been a steadfast supporter of Rocky throughout the legal proceedings.

The "Diamonds" hitmaker was spotted at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, where Rocky—real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers—faces up to 24 years in prison for allegedly shooting his former friend, A$AP Relli, in 2021.

During a courtroom break, Rihanna and Rocky stepped into the hallway with their children. Witnesses reported that Rihanna softly told her sons to “wish daddy good luck” before Rocky leaned in to kiss both his partner and their kids before returning to court.

The Grammy winner, who has appeared in the courtroom five times in support of Rocky, later left through a back door but returned solo. She was seen wearing a black leather trench coat and tan crocodile-embossed boots, with her children dressed in dark navy suits.

Rocky was arrested in April 2022 and faces two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic weapon. He has pleaded not guilty and declined to testify in his own defense. His legal team claims he was carrying a prop gun for security reasons.

With jury deliberations beginning soon, Rihanna reportedly remains anxious about the trial’s outcome, fearing the impact on their family. A source close to the star stated, “She is terrified of him going to prison. She has two kids at home that she does not want to raise on her own.”

The trial continues as the jury weighs the evidence presented in court.
