Actor-singer Aagha Ali released a new song on Saturday, titled Sach Hai, dedicated to the sorrow of unrequited love. Prior to the release, he teased the message of the track in an Instagram post, asking if they've ever experienced unrequited love.
"So many of you answered with a 'Yes'! So this one's for all of you. Now let's meet soon," Aagha stated. Fortunately for his fans, it didn't take the actor long to deliver on his promise.
Featuring Saheefa Jabbar Khattak as the muse, the music video for Sach Hai is now available to stream on YouTube. The mellow song captures the singer's hidden desires, while the music video intertwines his emotions with those of the friend he secretly loves, as he supports her through a challenging time in her relationship. "One-sided love is nothing more than a heartbreak waiting to happen," reads the opening title card.
Fans on social media platforms have been in awe of Aagha's musicality ever since he dropped the song. "What a soulful voice, soothing melody, and beautiful lyrics! Way to go Aagha! Onwards and upwards," complimented a user on YouTube. "Amazing. We need this kind of music more. Anyone can feel the pain in your songs. Beautiful video as well," wrote a user on Instagram.
Enthusiasts have been anticipating the release of this music video ever since Aagha announced that he was working on a project with Saheefa. "Got a chance to work with this amazing, extremely talented, and super kind-hearted girl. Thank you Saheefa for being the nicest. Wish you the world, my friend. Something very special is coming out very soon. Watch out for this one, guys!" he declared in a post on Instagram in November.
As for the Band Khirkiyan actor's work on television, most recently he was lauded for his performance in Habil Aur Qabil.
"Thank you so much for the fabulous feedback and the appreciation you all have shown for Haris and our project Habil Aur Qabil. Super grateful," he wrote on Instagram last July, revelling in praise for his ambitious character. "My heart is content. Many congratulations to the whole team and my fellow actors for delivering a fantastic performance."
