Tom Holland and Zendaya, one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, reportedly marked a milestone in their relationship with matching tattoos ahead of their secret engagement. The engagement became public on January 5, 2025, when Zendaya debuted a dazzling 5-carat diamond ring on the red carpet at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.

According to TMZ, the couple visited the Boston Tattoo Company on November 27, 2024, accompanied by Zendaya’s mother, Claire, who also got inked. Zendaya’s tattoo, a discreet “t” near her ribcage, complements Holland’s “z” tattoo in the same area. The tattoos were done privately, with the pair receiving a discounted rate of $100 per piece instead of the shop’s $150 minimum.

While they had previously discussed marriage, Zendaya was reportedly surprised by Holland’s proposal. Demonstrating his thoughtfulness, Holland sought and received permission from Zendaya’s parents before proposing between Christmas and New Year. The couple’s focus on privacy reflects their approach to major milestones, including their decision to keep the engagement quiet until recently.

Though engaged, Holland and Zendaya are reportedly in no rush to plan their wedding, instead choosing to enjoy this special phase of their relationship.
