Kieran Culkin humorously reignited his lighthearted "feud" with Pedro Pascal at the 2025 Golden Globes, one of the industry’s most prestigious events celebrating excellence in film and television. Speaking on Variety and Entertainment Tonight’s red carpet pre-show, Culkin teased Pascal, saying, “Is he here tonight? Oh, he’s not? Sorry, Pedro, were you not nominated this year? Maybe next year. When I won’t be.”

Culkin attended the ceremony as a nominee for Best Supporting Actor for his role in A Real Pain, a comedy-drama directed by Jesse Eisenberg about two cousins exploring their roots in Poland. The film also earned nominations for Best Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical. Culkin has already received critical acclaim for his performance, winning awards from the New York Film Critics Circle and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.

The playful banter between Culkin and Pascal began at the 2024 Golden Globes, where Culkin, winning for his role in HBO’s Succession, quipped during his acceptance speech, “Suck it, Pedro!” Cameras humorously captured Pascal’s puzzled reaction, which went viral. Pascal later joined the fun at the Emmy Awards, appearing in a sling and joking that Culkin had injured him.

On the red carpet, Culkin praised Pascal and his Actors on Actors partner Colman Domingo, calling them “fantastic” and expressing his desire to work with both.

Culkin’s mix of humor and talent has made him a standout this awards season. With A Real Pain showcasing his versatility and his playful rivalry with Pascal entertaining fans, Culkin continues to solidify his status as one of Hollywood’s most dynamic actors.
