The second episode of Euphoria Season 3 has recorded 8.5 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max in its first three days, matching the audience total of the season premiere, according to Warner Bros. Discovery.

The figures cover U.S. viewership only and show continued strong performance for the hit drama series. WBD also reported that Episode 2 outperformed the second episode of Season 2 by 32%, which previously drew 6.4 million viewers in the same three-day window.

While Season 2 aired in 2022, the series has seen significant growth in popularity since then, driven in part by the rising global profiles of its lead cast, including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi.

The Season 3 premiere has also seen an upward adjustment in its performance, increasing from 8.5 million viewers in its initial three days to more than 12.3 million viewers in the U.S. to date. Globally, the premiere has surpassed 20 million viewers, marking a 68% increase compared to Season 2’s global launch window.

Warner Bros. Discovery stated that Season 3 is currently among the three most-watched returning HBO seasons in the history of HBO Max, although exact comparative rankings were not disclosed. The show has also remained the No. 1 series on HBO Max globally since the new season launched.

The strong performance underscores Euphoria’s continued dominance as one of HBO’s most-watched original dramas.
