Drake has reflected on his tumultuous 2024 in a new freestyle released by producer Conductor Williams on Friday.

Although the video was quickly removed, fans managed to capture the track, titled 'Fighting Irish,' and shared it widely across social media platforms. The freestyle features a grainy visual of Drake rapping from a side profile, with introspective lyrics addressing both personal struggles and his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar.

On the track, Drake takes aim at those who sided with Kendrick during their public dispute, hinting at close friends, such as NBA stars LeBron James and DeMar DeRozan, who attended Kendrick’s Pop Out concert in June.

Drake expresses his frustration with individuals who, in his view, switched allegiances during the feud, rapping, “The world fell in love with the gimmicks, even my brothers got tickets, seemed like they loved every minute.” He also emphasizes the personal nature of the conflict, stating, “Just know the s–t is personal to us and wasn’t just business.”

In addition to addressing the fallout with his friends, Drake dispels rumors from Kendrick’s diss track 'Meet the Grahams' about his supposed drinking problem. “I don’t have a drinkin’ problem, I got a subtle addiction,” he raps.

The track also includes a possible jab at Universal Music Group, referencing his legal actions against the label for allegedly inflating Lamar’s diss track’s popularity. Universal denied the claims in a statement.
