Being a celebrity on social media these days seems to come with an unwritten rule: everyone feels entitled to an opinion about your life—your clothes, your choices, and even your kids. Zara Noor Abbas, however, has drawn a clear line when it comes to her six-month-old daughter, Noore Jahan. Recently, the Parey Hut Love star took to Instagram to remind everyone, once again, that her child's privacy is not up for public debate.

In her Instagram story, Zara wrote, "If I don't show pictures of my daughter, it means I would like to keep it private. Some people still don't have the audacity to respect this. It's a request again to all of you, please stop posting videos of our daughter. And if you already have, please delete them."

This call for respect and privacy comes at a time when Zara has also been dealing with unsolicited commentary on her personal choices—particularly her fashion sense.

In October, Zara posted a series of pictures on Instagram showcasing an ensemble that blended modern and retro influences. Wearing a sheer black long-sleeved shirt layered with a casual T-shirt, paired with denim jeans, statement earrings, and a beaded braid extension, the Badshah Begum actor exuded confidence and individuality. However, the bold outfit choice became fodder for criticism, with comments such as, "You have no dressing sense," flooding her posts.

Not one to stay silent, Zara responded with sharp clarity. "Just because you are in a box of conventional experiences, doesn't mean I have to be in them too," she wrote. In Urdu, she added, "Do I have to seek your permission to live the way I want and dress the way I want?"
