Dua Lipa has declared 2024 the "best year of her life," celebrating a string of career milestones.
From the release of her third album Radical Optimism to headlining Glastonbury Festival, the British pop star reached new heights this year. Lipa’s album debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. and topped charts across Europe, with the lead single “Houdini” dominating Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for 17 weeks.
Her global Radical Optimism tour broke records, including sold-out nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where she performed with a 53-piece orchestra, and a historic headline performance at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, the first by a British woman since 2016. Despite the album’s success, Lipa received no Grammy nominations, which she addressed with gratitude, praising the recognition of other female artists.
Beyond music, Lipa expanded her ventures in 2024, producing the Disney+ documentary Camden and growing her Service95 newsletter. She also made waves as a champion for LGBTQ+ youth through the Trevor Project and voiced support for global humanitarian issues.
Lipa’s tour continues in 2025, starting in Australia and New Zealand, with two sold-out Wembley Stadium shows in the U.K. and four nights each at New York’s Madison Square Garden and L.A.’s Kia Forum. As she embraces manifestation to guide her future, Lipa remains tight-lipped about what’s next. “They have to be a secret to come true,” she teased.
